He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Svoboda and Alma Svoboda (Wilhelm); and his niece Kami Svoboda. He is survived by: his siblings, David (Sandee Svoboda) of Jackson, Minnesota, Joanne Sievert (Stan) of Spirit Lake and Janet Wicks of Spirit Lake, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
