It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Ackermann (Lakefield, Minnesota), who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gustav Kratzke and Jelkea Jansen Krieger Kratzke; her husband David John Ackermann of John's Lutheran Church; her siblings, Heinz Krieger, John Krieger and Lisa Lindemann; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Lindemann, Esther Krieger and Dolores Krieger.

She is survived by : her sons, James Ackermann (Jeanine) and Daniel Ackermann (Kelly); her grandchildren, Jacob Ackermann (Melissa) of Lakefield, Jeremiah Ackermann (Karly) of Brookings, SD, Gregory Ackermann (Racheal) of Lakefield, Jared Ackermann of Lakefield, Amanda Voss (Dustin) of Lakefield, Matthew Ackermann (Alyssa) of Lakefield and Jesse Ackermann of Lakefield; and her great grandchildren, Alivia Ackermann, Abigail Ackermann, Cade Voss, David Ackermann, Aaron Ackermann, Benjamin Ackermann, Connor Voss, Addison Ackermann, Eleanor Ackermann, Hannah Ackermann, Carter Ackermann and Caleb Ackermann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church and School at 604 Bush St., PO Box 750, Lakefield, MN 56150.
