She was predeceased by: her parents, Agil O. Kilen and Helga O. Kilen (Nesterud); her husband Virgil Sigler; her son Neal A. Smith; and her siblings, Mary Grandon (Michael), Kristene Kilen Baumgard (Clint), Barbara Kilen Rausenberger, James Kilen, Susan Kilen Werner (Irwin) and Helen Kilen Gunst (William).
She is survived by: her children, Dale Smith (Marilyn), Darla Birkey and Dawn Fletcher (Dan); her stepchildren, Tom Sigler (Linda) and Bonnie Sigler; her siblings, John Kilen (Mary) and Cynthia Rost (Hennan); and her brother-in-law Les Rausenberger. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church-Lakefield (401 7th Ave N, Lakefield, MN 56150). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
