He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carney and Karen Carney. He is survived by: his wife Shelly; and his sisters, Colleen McCall (Fred), Carrie Ellis (Jeff) and Michelle Crowson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.

The Masonry Contractors Association of America (MCAA) recognized Brian's many contributions to the industry.
