He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Degner and Helen Degner (Oettchen) of Dysart, Iowa.. He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Maltos (Ignacio II) and Heather Degner (Quinton Moore); and his sister Brenda Birke (Mike). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nephews; along with several other extended family members and friends.
