She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Haefner (Zellmer) and Ralph Haefner; her husband Randy Leonhardt; and her siblings, Sharon Lindblom (Bill), Nancy Bomsta and Terry Haefner.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Lees (Jay) and Patrick Leonhardt; her grandchildren, Taylor Lees, Ashley Lees and Avery Lees; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Bomsta, Tim Leonhardt (Jeannine) and Polly Haefner. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (19795 Holyoke Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Kathy lived courageously with Alzheimer's for the last ten years of her life.
