She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Forby and Lois Forby (Ross). She is survived by: her husband Wes; her daughters, Shirley Whiteside (Byron Plumley) and Paula Whiteside Holmes (Ted Holmes); her grandchildren, Anne Dubler (John), Katie Swartz (Paul), Emily Samsel (William) and Nick Holmes (Katie); and her brother Glen Forby (Jennifer). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Marilyn will continue her life of education and research at the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic Brain Bank, with the generous donation of her body for research.
