She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gottwalt and Betty Gottwalt (Jonason); her son Michael Murphy; and her sister Bonnie Harrison. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Murphy of Apple Valley; her daughters, Michelle Schauer of Reno, NV and Christine Navratil (Scott) of Burnsville; her grandchildren, Nicholas Schauer of Alexandria, Matthew Navratil of Burnsville, Megan Navratil of Burnsville and Jordan Schauer of Alexandria; her daughter Sarah Navratil of Burnsville; and her sister-in-law Jolene Phillips (David) of New Brighton.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association; providing Alzheimer's care and support and accelerating research.
