He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schloemer and Loretta Schloemer. He is survived by: his wife Lori Youngblut; his children, Bryon Schloemer (Nikki), Haylei Peterson (Tony), Philip Schloemer (Nichelle) and Katie Culviner (John); his grandchildren, Ella, Cole, Jack, Bria, Audrey and James; and his siblings, Jane Mohs (Bill), Connie Gerster (Paul), Rob Schloemer (Kim) and Gary Schloemer (Peg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
At Stephen's request, his body was donated to the Mayo Clinic Department of Neurology research team for the advancement in the treatments of his disease.
