He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Alexander and Mary Eileen Smith (Griffin); and his sister Suzanne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cathleen "Cathy" Richardson Smith; his sons, Christopher Steven Smith (Kellee) and Matthew Justin Smith (Amanda); his grandchildren, Bodee James, Paislee Rose, Russell Christopher and Leon Murphy Smith; and his siblings, Jimmy Smith, Peggy Masella, Robert Smith (Elaine) and Lisa Robbins (James).
