He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his parents, Edmund Bentrup and Margaret Bentrup; his father-in-law Paul Krohn; and his brother Richard Bentrup.
He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Bentrup (Karen), Mark Bentrup (June), Mary Wagner (Kenny) and John Bentrup; and his sisters-in-law, Lin Bentrup and Lou Krohn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Samaritans Purse International Relief or Messiah Lutheran Church in Lakeville for their church service broadcast ministry.
