With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Armitage (Lanesboro, Minnesota), who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Armitage and Winnie Armitage (Buelow) of Pickwick, Minnesota.; his siblings, Elaine, Evelyn, Carole, Lois and Wayne; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Grace; and his siblings-in-law, Peter, Paul and Sandi.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Schroetke; his children, Travis Armitage, Tanya Kleinschmidt (Steve) and Tyler Armitage (Chrissy); his grandchildren, Calysta, Zackary, Caitlyn Dresselhaus, Avery, Wyatt Armitage, Kristen and Cody Kleinschmidt; his great grandchild Sadie; his sister Barb Armitage; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Kronebusch (Joe), Pam Schroetke, Sue Schroetke and Jim Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hoff Celebration. The military honors will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post #9.
