He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Winfield and Edna Victoria Holm (Pearson); and his wife Elaine Lou Houghton. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lyndi Thomas, Lexi Eller, Coleman Baker, Katie Baker, Madison Wroblewski, Tatum Baker, Nicole Erickson, Daniel Holm, David Holm, Bret Hausmann, Lauren Holm, Paige Magliocco, Charlie Holm and Britton Hausmann; his children, Steven Holm (Kara) of La Crosse, WI, Thomas Holm (Jenny) of Maplewood, MN, Lori Hausmann (Bob) of Dallas, TX and Kari Baker (Owen) of Stromsburg; his siblings, Marion Hoglund (Ken) of Burnsville, MN and Stephen Holm (Glenda) of Louisville, KY; and his close friend JoAnn Jallo. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Stromsburg Baptist Church (515 Exchange St, Stromsburg, NE 68666). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stromsburg Cemetery (1412 Co Rd 126, Stromsburg, NE 68666).
