It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheryl Lea Moonen of Laporte, Minnesota, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jeraldine McCloud (Weber) and Walter McCloud; her son Timothy Moonen; and her grandson David Fishbach. She is survived by : her husband Gerald Moonen; her children, Samuel Moonen, Jamie Schulz, Jessica Kontzelmann (John), Emily Weeks (Cameron) and Amanda Weeks (Michael); her siblings, Samuel McCloud (Kelly), Stephen McCloud (Melody) and Charline Macomber (Michael); her grandchildren, Jedediah, Jerilynn, Eric, Isaak, Hunter, Landon, Emma, Austin, Isabella and Elijah; and her great grandchildren, Gracie, Maggie, Aaron, Kinsli and Leighton.
