He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Goettl and Sandra Goettl (Smith); his brother David; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Eleanor Hogan (Jackson).
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Hogan; his children, Joshua Goettl (Alexandra Fisher), Jamie Von Bank (Steve), Pamela Goettl (Randy Simon) and Timothy Goettl (Christina Shirley); his grandchildren, Louis, Maryann, Layla Goettl-Schleeve, Brayden, Mara, Melanie Von Bank, April, Noah LaVoi and Hope Goettl; his stepgrandchildren, Dominic, Christian, Aurora Fisher and Brett Simon; and his siblings, Scott Goettl (Sue), Cathy Thielbar (Steve), Lisa Holicky (Chuck) and Tammy Goettl. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
