He was predeceased by : his parents, Gus Veen and Selma Veen (Gedrose); and his siblings, Rudolph, Guy, Bergetta, Agnes, Norma, Stella, Eleanor, Evelyn and Shirley.
He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Vesperman; his children, Michael Veen (Patricia) and Lori Veen-Morel (Nicholas); and his grandson Nathan Veen-Morel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
