He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Vastenhout and Katherine Vastenhout (Kroontje); his wife Delores Vander Vliet; and his brother Bruce Vastenhout. He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Vastenhout of Hartford, SD and Nicole Larsen (Brian) of Brandon, SD; his grandchildren, Parker, Macy Menning, Owen Decker, Knox and Noah Larsen; his brother Royce Vastenhout (Jenna) of Dell Rapids, SD; and his in-laws, Dwayne Vander Vliet (Brenda), Luverne, Lois Beukema (Bruce) of Hayfield, Connie Hudson (Giles) of The Colony, TX, Marilyn Long (Mark) of Larchwood, IA and Deb Renken (Rick) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
