He is survived by: his children, Virgil Kroontje (Vickie) of Buckley, WA, Wayne Kroontje (Helen) of Leota, Orla Schuld (Dale) of Edgerton, Paula Griggs (Jeff) of Milo, IA, Warren Kroontje (Sharon) of Sioux Falls, SD, Bryan Kroontje (Astrid) of Grafenwohr, Germany, Darla Ostheimer of Sioux Falls, SD, Lila Kasprowicz (Al) of Luverne and Darin Kroontje of Sauk Centre, MN; his sister Dorothy Ricehill of Luverne; and his sister-in-law Marlene Hofkamp. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
