He was predeceased by: his father Donald Litzau; his father-in-law Gerald Paehlke; his brother-in-law Bruce Paehlke; and his granddaughter Savannah Litzau. He is survived by: his mother Audrey Litzau (Reinke); his wife Denise Ann Litzau (Paehlke) of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Kristin Greenwald (Christopher), Brittany Litzau (Jake Wall), Derek Litzau (Katie) and Hannah Stark (James); his grandchildren, Jayden, Ethan, Blake Greenwald, Oliver Litzau, Shay Odegaard, RaeLynn and Billie Stark; his siblings, Darlene Schmidt (Brett), Duane Litzau (Angela) and Diane Litzau (Nina McDowell); his mother-in-law June Paehlke; and his brothers-in-law, Chad Paehlke (Kristi), Greg, Trevor and Jaret. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
