We are sad to announce that, on February 10, 2026, at the age of 84, John Arthur Valen of Lester Prairie, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Joan Guertin, Jane Zepeda and Grace Huebener; and his nephews, Mark and Jeff Guertin.
He is survived by: his wife Roni Valen; his children, Matt Valen, Curt Valen (Barb), Kristine Smitten (Bill) and Eric Valen; and his sisters, Diane Valen, Linda Valen and Mary Roerig (Mike). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; many other relatives and friends.
