She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Jaekel and Viola Jaekel (Hechsel); her sisters, Dorothy Moe (Russell) and Joanne Lenzen; her siblings-in-law, Myra Jackel, LeRoy Vollrath, Ortwin, Waltraud Heldt, Carol Heldt and Judy Sellnow; and her great grandchild Jack Sturgis.

She is survived by : her son Earl Jr. Heldt (Debra) of Lester Prairie; her grandchildren, Mandy Sturges (Jason), Melanie Heldt (Craig Carlson), Justin Heldt (Amy) and Jared Heldt (Kristin); her great grandchildren, Connor, Noah, Evan, Sophie Sturges, Layla, Hailey Carlson, Hunter, Hadley Heldt, Eleanor, Lydia, Josephine and Warren Heldt; her brother Leonard Jaekel of Cologne; and her brothers-in-law, Duane Lenzen of Carver, Dennis Heldt and Robert Sellnow of Glencoe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
