She was predeceased by : her parents, Wayne Schmitz and Marg Schmitz (Weherenberg); her brother Michael; her former life partner Jim Boettcher; and her daughter-in-law Nikki Kubat.
She is survived by : her children, Robert Maringer, Andrea Orest (Yusef), Michael Maringer (Amber) and Amy Geilow (Nate); her brothers, Wayne Schmitz, Rob Schmitz, Dan Schmitz and Don Schmitz; and her former life partner Robert Maringer. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
