She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sargent and Phoebe Sargent; her husband Glenn Rutledge; her siblings, John, Jerry and Jean Vinje; her stepdaughter Tracy; her stepson-in-law Patrick Stingl; and her niece Vicki Brummer.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Karlson (Deb) and Kari Ooten (Eric); her stepdaughter Amy Rutledge Stingl; her grandchildren, Erika, Timothy, Sonoma, Matthew, Alec, Molly and Hattie; her great grandchild Sophia; and her close friends, Vicki and George.
