He is survived by: his children, Tony Nelson (Jeanne), Julie Kunze and Shad Nelson (Maria); his grandchildren, Oesten Nelson, Christyn Keyler (Hudson), Svea Bach (David), Bridget Sova (Nick), Nicole Nelson, Geoff Richie and Emily Kunze; and his sister Mary Schmitz (Dale). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
