He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Minar and Edna Minar; his grandson Dylan Minar; his in-laws, Herbert and Hazel Carlson; and his siblings-in-law, MaryLou, Gene and Clarol.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Carlson; his children, Mark (Wendy), Scott (Susan) and Tammy (Jay); his grandchildren, Brandon Minar, Justin Minar, Brittany Haynes (Caleb) and Joe Minar (Holly); his great grandchildren, Xena, Obadiah and Lydia; and his granddaughter Sister Carol Babb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
