He is survived by: his son John Durant; his daughter-in-law Faith Cole-Durant; his stepdaughter Tanya Stoll (Dustin); his grandsons, Ryan and Matthew Stoll; his close friend Diane Charles; and his siblings, Debra Thomson Steele, Donald Thomson, Laurie Thomson Parsons and Jeanie Swanson Glaspell.
