James J. Helinsky Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Helinsky of Linwood Township, Minnesota, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Helinsky and Irene Helinsky (Cogger); his siblings, LaVonne Goral, Rosie Hamm, Ronald Helinsky and Larry Patrick Helinsky; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Goral and Bob Hamm.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Origer; his sons, Terry Helinsky (Stephanie Anderson) and Jimmy Helinsky (Denise); his grandchildren, Tyler, Wyatt (Alexis Jensen), Hannah, Sophia, Luke and Logan; and his sister-in-law Pat Helinsky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Peter (1250 S Shore Dr, Forest Lake, MN 55025).
Jim spent over 40 years working at Carter Day Company, where he earned the respect of colleagues and made lasting contributions to the company's success.
