She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Ashfeld and Elizabeth Ashfeld (Hierlmaier); her husband Lloyd Garding; and her siblings, James, Leonard and Joanne.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Oslund (Jarod), Brian Garding (Ashley), Jeff Garding (Brenna), Joyce Ashfeld, Judy Engelson (Erik) and Deanna Flaschenreim; her grandchildren, Brice Lu (Saige), Carissa Lu Johnson (Michael), Hailey Stoffer, Cole Stoffer, Jayda Stoffer, Quinten Engelson, Kyza Engelson, Kaiden Oslund, Braylin Oslund, Tyler Garding, Aiden Garding, Brycen Garding, Trinity Garding, Gavin Garding and Vayda Garding; and her sibling Arlys Hicks (Billy). She is also survived by many extended family members, friends, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Philip (821 E 5th St, Litchfield, MN 55355). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
