She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Birkemeyer; her sons, Kurt, Kim and Kyle; and her parents, Frank Hillmeyer and Esther Hillmeyer.
She is survived by: her son Kris; her daughter-in-law Bridget Birkemeyer; her grandchildren, William Birkemeyer, Melanie Birkemeyer (Joel Grave), Hannah Birkemeyer (Zach Fortun) and Rebecca Ash (Eric); her great grandchildren, Orrie, Elaine, Owen, Perseus, Palmer, Bohdi and Berlyn; her siblings, Paul Hillmeyer, Mary Cole, Ruth Johnson and Susie Hillmeyer; and her sister-in-law Patricia Hillmeyer (Susan Hillmeyer).
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral & Cremation Service (125 S Armstrong Ave, Litchfield, MN 55355). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
