He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Valerie O'Brien (Mark) of Orlando, Kevin Hames (Jennifer) of Sacramento and Brent Hames (Susan) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his sister Mona Nelsen. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
