With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scott Dean Engfer (Litchfield, Minnesota), born in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Delores; his brother Gary; his son Dean; and his parents-in-law, Myron and Jeanette Mielke.
He is survived by: his wife Debra; his son Travis (Nikki); his grandsons, Brandon, Austin, Chayton and Prestin; and his siblings, Rodney (Liz) and Joyce (Bill Tomasulo). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home (125 S Armstrong Ave, Litchfield, MN 55355). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (703 S Sibley Ave, Litchfield, MN 55355).
