He is survived by: his former wife Judith Swanson; his wife Carla; his sister Carolyn Horst (Rodney); his children, Dean Schneeberger (Gail), Lorrie Benjamin (Bruce), Michael Schneeberger (Marlys), Gene Schneeberger (Brianna) and Jacques; his stepsons, Shelly, Chrissy Bayless (Tim) and Andrew Schneeberger (Amanda); his grandchildren, Lindsay Miller (Justin), Brady Schneeberger (Jessi), Jamie Kaping (Michael), Jesse Schneeberger (Kristen), Jordan Schneeberger, Parker Schneeberger, Cade Schneeberger, Aiden Bayless, Ellery Bayless, Devon Schneeberger and Isaiah Schneeberger; and his great grandchildren, Maci, Peyton Miller, Beckett, Hudson Schneeberger, Stella, Charlie and Jack Kaping. He is also survived by cousins (and their spouses), nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Heartland Hospice of Minnesota, or donors preferred charity.
