He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kula and Loretta Giroux (Kula); and his stepfather Art Giroux. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Kula (Wetzel); his children, Joseph, Molly (Jack), Elizabeth and Thomas Kula (Ashley); and his siblings, Michael Kula (Alison) and Kathy Malecek (Dale). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Dominican Friars Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus: 5877 Birch Court, Oakland California 94618.
