He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin Zapzalka (Florence) and Florence Zapzalka (Waletski); his daughter Sandra Klisch; and his siblings, Ambrose Zapzalka, Arthur Zapzalka, Evelyn Witt and Rita Trettel.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Zapzalka (Barton) of Little Falls; his children, Brenda Spoden (Gary) of Sartell, Daniel Zapzalka (Nicole) of Wayzata, Timothy Zapzalka (Danelle) of Little Falls and Terrence Zapzalka (Christine) of Little Falls; his grandchildren, Cassie Spoden, Carly Spoden, Courtney Spoden, Chloe Spoden, Alex Klisch, Abbey Davidson, Elijah Zapzalka, Aiden Zapzalka, Ari Zapzalka, Emmett Zapzalka, Austin Zapzalka, Erin Zapzalka, Marjory Zapzalka, Marshall Zapzalka and Maxx Zapzalka; and his siblings, Duane Zapzalka (Carole) of Bowlus, Donald Zapzalka (Nila) of Little Falls, Darlene Wilcek (Gary) of Little Falls and Carol Wilczek (Ray) of Bowlus.
