He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph "Toby" Karnowski and Bessie "Betty" Karnowski (Torgerson); his son Adam Karnowski; and his brother Russel Chisholm. He is survived by: his daughters, Candis Keehr (Jason) of Fort Ripley and Erin Karnowski (Trevor Hines) of Brainerd; his former wife Bonnie Karnowski of Little Falls; his siblings, Ruth Karnowski of Little Falls and Leslie Chisholm (Shirlene) of Washington; and his grandchildren, Hailee Wise, Sheldon Karnowski, Elly Keehr, Gabriel Keehr, Korlyna Zack (Alec) and Makayla Keehr. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
