She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sr. Reis and Rita Reis (Otremba); her sister Mary Lou Knaack; her siblings-in-law, Ed Kalis, Delmar Kalis and Delores Klisch; and her in-laws, Frank and Helen Kalis.
She is survived by: her husband Al Kalis of Sobieski, MN; her children, Christine Massmann of Melrose, MN, Melissa Lampert (Dan) of Bowlus, MN, Thomas Kalis (Sarah) of Royalton and Patrick Kalis (Chrissy) of Randall, MN; her siblings, Patricia Psyck (Butch), David Reis (Janet), Michael Reis (Diane), Donald, Jr. Reis (Carol), Dennis Reis (Louise), Paul Reis (Tammy), Ward Reis (Maryanne) and Joseph Reis (Jessica); her grandchildren, Dakota Massmann (Jade), Adrian Massmann (Haley Ramacher), Emmett Massmann, Rebecca Lampert (Lucas Venske), Elizabeth Lampert, Phillip Lampert, Abby Kalis, Ezra Kalis, Bellanie Kalis and Alayna Kalis; and her great grandchildren, Liam Massmann, Colt Massmann and Willow Massmann.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family as they will be establishing a fund for women who are in need of assistance to get a wig during cancer treatments.
