He is survived by: his wife Darlene Zapzalka; his children, Jim (Jayne), Paul (Ann), Greg (Anna), Christine and April; his grandchildren, Beth, Andrew Wilcek, Brandon, Travis, Cole Wilcek, Nora, Lucy, Stella Wilcek, Majid, Kaysar, Maryam, Mahdi and Lila Almadan; and his brother Don Wilcek.
