He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Walder and Carie Walder (Urness); his wife Judy Charlson; and his sister Kathy Challgren (George Wiederaenders). He is survived by: his children, Zachary Walder (Laura) of Sartell, Brandy Walder of Sartell and Tony Walder (Caprice) of Ponder, TX; his grandchildren, Candace (Zach), Parker, Cooper, Chloe and Rebecca; and his great grandchildren, Jett, Audrey and Axel.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery (15550 MN-115, Little Falls, MN 56345).
