He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Banick and Florence Banick (Mulchay); his son Richard Banick; his granddaughter Jessi Banick; and his siblings, Frank Banick, Jr., Jerry Banick and Rita Scepurek.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Banick of Little Falls; his children, Daniel Banick of Little Falls, Marie Festler (Kevin) of Park Rapids, Janelle Rieland (Tim) of Watkins and Tom Banick (Laura) of Royalton; and his brother Duane Banick of Little Falls. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or CHI Hospice.
