He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Nagel and Bertha Nagel (Hartmann); his former wife Marla Nagel; his son Scott Nagel; and his sister Corinne Guild.
He is survived by: his fiancée Carol Hoheisel of Pierz, MN; his children, Mary Beth Nagel of Little Falls, MN, Todd Nagel (Jenae) of Little Falls, MN and Lisa DeGross (Kevin) of Elko, MN; his daughter-in-law Debbie Copa-Nagel of Little Falls, MN; his sister Iris Mitrick of Glendale, AZ; and his grandchildren, Sam Nagel (Trista), Gabe Nagel, Ian DeGross and Audrey DeGross. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the LeMieur Funeral Home of Little Falls (214 2nd St SE, Little Falls, MN 56345). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church - Little Falls (305 4th St SE, Little Falls, MN 56345).
