He is survived by: his wife Audrey Deering (Miller); his brother Claire; his sisters-in-law, Lucy Deering (Ginter) and Nancy Deering (Hammond); his children, Dan, Sandy Deering (Lindberg), Rod, Myrna Deering, Jill Gohl (Deering), Rusty, Lyn Gwost (Swenson), Tami (Gwost), Dave Lange, Teri (Gwost) and John Merritt; his grandchildren, Jasper, Mercedes, Brandi Deering, Kendra Deering, Kyle, Jordan, Christopher Gohl, Raider, Xavia Deering, Conor, Cody, Brooke Lange, Alex, Zach, Carter Gwost and Jake Merritt; and his close friend Oscar. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
