He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Berscheid and Mae Berscheid (Pluth); his wife Rosalie Berscheid of Paul's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Donald Berscheid, Dorothy Jacobs, Lorene Bitz, Arnold Berscheid, Clarence Berscheid and Julian Berscheid.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Dierkhising (Paul) of St. Cloud, Dianne Petersen (Roger) of St. Cloud, Mike Berscheid of St. Cloud and Bill Berscheid (Suzanne) of Elk River; and his sister-in-law Pat Berscheid of Grey Eagle. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
