He is survived by: his friend Madelyn; his wife Madelyn; his daughters, Beth (Rich Kelly), Teresa (Wensley Herbert), Anita (Ross Gramstad), Kathryn (Ryan Flom) and Deborah (Michael Heppner); his grandchildren, Mary Bauer (Jake), William Kelly, Charlotte Kelly, Vivi Kelly, Claire Herbert, Cameron Herbert, Connor Herbert, Ally Johnson (Tyler), Katelyn Gramstad, Anders Flom, Erik Flom, Jonah Heppner, Julian Heppner and Liam Heppner; his great grandchildren, Peter, Iris and Joseph Bauer; his sisters, Kathy Fulkerson (Dave) and Janelle Evenson; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Krinke, Jane Backlund, Ann Burmeister and Gary Berulson (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be made to Concordia University, St Paul (https://concordiastpaul.givevirtuous.org) or the University of Minnesota Leukemia and Lymphoma Research Fund , or a benefactor of the donor's choice.
