The memory of Marie Unger of Long Lake, Minnesota, born in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marie leaves behind and her impact on our lives. Though Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear, a guiding light that illuminates our paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Wengler and Irene Wengler (Pangburn); her husband Dick Unger of Paul's Catholic Church; and her brother Jim Wengler. She is survived by : her children, Keith Unger of Jordan and Lynda; her son-in-law Randy Hesse of Chaska; her granddaughters, Erica Unger of St. Paul and Stephanie Unger of Belle Plaine; her sister Rosella Maile of Avon; and also Anna Marie Unger of Jordan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (304 Sinclair Lewis Ave, Sauk Centre, MN 56378). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
