She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Lang and Elsie Lang (Schaeffer); her sister Eleanor; her brother-in-law Russ Halter; her brother John; her sister-in-law Ruth Lang (Church); and her stepson Greg Petrie.
She is survived by: her husband Blaine Petrie of Long Prairie, MN; her sons, David Redman (Marsha) of Burnsville, MN, Steve Redman (Stormy) of Buffalo, MN, Randy Redman (Kathy) of Britt, IA and Kurt Turner (Sharon) of Eden, VT; her stepchildren, Steve Petrie (Pat) of Long Prairie, MN, Mark Petrie of Long Prairie, MN, Belinda Petrie (Mark) of Chippewa Falls, WI and Keith Petrie (Michelle) of Long Prairie, MN; her brothers, Larry Lang (Karen) of Rockwell, IA and Allen Lang (Chris) of Kanawha, IA; and her daughter Michelle Glenz of Spicer, MN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church (215 9th St SE, Long Prairie, MN 56347).
