He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Byers (Bob) and Ida Byers; and his brothers, Dennis, Mike and Roger.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Bob Byers (Carrie) and Andrea Turner (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sam, Nick, Kiera, Gage Hanson, Alice Foote and Ryan Turner; and also Tony Byers (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (409 Central Ave, Long Prairie, MN 56347). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
