He was predeceased by: his sister Lynette Fuchs-Johnson; his grandparents, Ben, Leona Kemper and Eldred Fuchs, Sr.; and his uncles, Gary Maus and Robert "Bob" Kemper.

He is survived by: his son Brandon William; his wife Amy Fuchs of Long Prairie; his daughter Megan; his father Eldred "Junior" Fuchs; his stepmother Cindy of Long Prairie; his mother Kaye Fuchs (Bruce Otte) of Melrose; his grandmother Jean Fuchs of Melrose; his stepsiblings, Ryan Lubbers (Jill) of Osakis and Rachel Hukriede (Kyle) of Long Prairie; his in-laws, Gerald and Ann Klaphake of Freeport; his niece Brittany Johnson; and his nephew Christopher Johnson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
