He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilhelm Kroll and Hulda (Heinck); his brothers, William, Bobby and Edwin; and his former life partner Delaine (Schultz).
He is survived by : his wife Susan (Bloch); his sisters, Irma Johnson and Esther Hartwig (David); and his children, Tom Kroll (Mary), Tim Kroll, Hans Kroll (Lynn) and Kate Gray (Tom). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
