He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Charpentier and Catherine Charpentier; and his sister Mary Lou. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Selby); his son Paul; his daughter-in-law Tina Charpentier; his grandchildren, Olivia, Nick and Anna; and his siblings, Catherine Egan (Pat), Dorothy and Stephen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In honor of Don's memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Hope Lodge, Rochester, MN, of which Don and Carol were grateful beneficiaries during a long stay at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, or the Longville Area Food Shelf, an organization that he and his wife have supported for many years.
