He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Slagle and Samuel "Ed" Slagle; his son Wade Slagle; his parents-in-law, Wesley "Bud" and Noreen Carpenter; and his siblings, Charles Slagle, Harlan Slagle (Gloria), Dorris Demars, Jan Kline (Ken), Edward "Butch" Slagle and Joyce Miller (Howard).
He is survived by: his wife Maurinetta; his children, Wesley Slagle (Tammy) and Wendy Slagle (Kassie); his grandchildren, Eryn Vasquez (Alex), Jack Slagle, Aniki Bolles and Avery Bolles; his siblings, Shirley Girken, Jean Fishel (Ron) and Frank Slagle (Dianne); and his sisters-in-law, Billie Ann Slagle (Dean) and Deb Godfrey (Duane). He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Longville Community Church (194 School Ln, Longville, MN 56655). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Longvile Community Church (194 School Ln, Longville, MN 56655).
